Books, Brews & Better Futures 2026

Hosted at S&S Farm Brewery, the setting itself is part of the experience. S&S Farm Brewery is a true New York State farm brewery, rooted in generations of agricultural tradition. Situated on a working family farm, the brewery was built on the idea of bringing people together over locally crafted beer made from ingredients grown right on the land. With a deep commitment to sustainability, community, and honoring the region’s farming heritage, S&S offers a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere that perfectly complements this feel-good event.

From 1–5 PM, guests can enjoy live music by The BEAKS, delicious offerings from The Coop Food Truck, and refreshing options like lemonade and ice cream. Adults can sample locally crafted brews, while families can spread out, relax, and take in the scenic surroundings.

This event is designed with families in mind. Kids will have a blast with a bounce house, face painting, and a special opportunity to take pictures with the beloved Capital District icon, Henry Bellagnome. Raffles throughout the afternoon add excitement and chances to win great prizes, all while supporting a meaningful cause.

Proceeds from the event directly benefit The RED Bookshelf, whose mission is simple yet powerful: ensure that every child has access to books of their own. By placing free books in schools, community centers, and partner locations, they empower children to read, learn, and imagine without barriers.

Admission is just $5, and children 12 and under are free, making this an accessible event for all. Whether you come for the music, the brews, the family fun, or the cause, you’ll be part of something bigger—helping to build brighter futures through literacy, connection, and community.

Come raise a glass with Albany Rotary, share a smile, and support a mission that truly makes a difference—one book, one child, and one community at a time.
